The Task

Students will first need to get into groups of two. Using the links I have provided on the next page, look up information on sun safety and how you can help Molly protect herself from its harmful rays while she is at the beach. Then, with the information you gather, make a poster for Molly with information on ways she can protect herself from the sun and how the sun can be harmful to her skin and body.  The poster should include: ways Molly can protect her skin, what Molly should wear while on the beach, and include a drawing of Molly participating in her favorite summer activity using the information you found on sun safety.
