The Jefferson County Parks & Recreation Commission, located in Charles Town, WV is offering a spring and summer internship program for those working toward his/her degree in the recreation field and in need of an internship to fulfill graduation requirements.

RECREATION PROGRAMMING

Primary responsibilities will include assisting our staff with a variety of youth programs and special events. Applicant will assist in the field as well as in an office setting with registration, public relations, and overall daily operations. Applicant will receive an overview of all aspects of park management. In addition, applicant will also be exposed to various park maintenance and sports field management duties. This position requires a background in interpersonal communication and organizational skills. Each applicant will be interviewed after their application has been received.
