The “Art Crew” and Timber Ridge School

Expressive Arts Curriculum

 

                The Art Crew is a group of six students in Dr. Anna DeVito’s Recreation Programming class at Shepherd University. As a semester long assignment, they were to design an Expressive Arts curriculum for Timber Ridge School that will meet high school graduation requirements. This curriculum encompasses art, dance, music, and theater.

                 Timber Ridge  School is a licensed residential treatment and accredited educational program serving young men with a history of serious emotional, learning and behavioral difficulties that is located in Cross Junction Virginia. Timber Ridge School’s mission for it boys is SHAPES:
