When purchasing a diamond, cost is the most important consideration for many.  Generally, one has a budget, so it is important to do some research and understand the kind of diamond that would be reasonable to buy.  To be honest, diamonds are one of the most expensive gemstones to purchase and can get very pricey very fast, especially as the quality rises.  So, lets discuss the type of diamond one can buy depending on his or her budget.  All of the costs are based on a round diamond, which tends to be a more expensive cut, so prices can vary depending on the Four C's.  Also, the lower carat for each category of carat weight tends to be a higher quality.
