History

Scientists believe that diamonds have been forming for millions of years deep within the earth but were first found only several thousand years ago.  Their history is rich with interesting and unusual uses, stories of wealth and fighting, and even a story about a famous large blue diamond that has been passed through the hands of kings and many other notable individuals.   But, all of this history has formed the diamond industry today and diamonds still hold a worthy place in societies all across the globe.
