Pain and Reflexology
Everyone has experienced aches and pains. Aches are creepers that invade the body in the form of tightening of the neck, shoulders and back area leaving the body to feel helpless and tense. Some aches can come in the forms of a headache. Other aches can cause the stomach to hurt. Some aches can cause pain in the hands and feet. Forms of stressors bring on the aches one may experience. These stressors may include but not limited to: poor posture, an acidic diet, adrenal exhaustion, and recovery from an illness or disease, an injury or surgery and repressed anger. Everyone reacts differently to stressors and the achy pain stressors can cause and of course there are different kinds of pain: physical, emotional, chronic, local, throbbing, dull and sharp. No one wants to think that pain can be a positive feeling but when pain is experienced it becomes a good indication that there is something wrong. Strong pain killing drugs afford relief by masking pain or deadening certain body mechanisms. Reflexology is a non-invasive form of pain relief that is superior to drugs and their side effects. Reflexology is known to relieve joint pain, indigestion, constipation and digestive disorders and boost and balance circulation, nervous and lymphatic functions and Reflexology is better for the body in the form that it is a natural form of combating the stressors that create the aches and pains.
