Jake Wysopal
Technician
Jacob started working with Welsh Sound in the summer of 2000. He has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming and information systems from Shepherd University. While Jacob has gone full circle with in Welsh Sound, from setting up and running live sound to installing sound systems for different venues. His greatest achievement while working with Welsh Sound was claiming the title “The first normal person he has ever employed,” given by Dawn Welsh, Jamie’s wife. Outside of Welsh Sound, Jacob is assistant Forman in the millwork depart for The Master’s Woodshop. Duties include drafting, designing, over sight of the production of architectural elements and features for residential homes and commercial buildings. He also programs and operates a three axis computer controlled router.
Hobbies for Jacob include collecting old hand tools and stamps. He is also an avid computer gamer.
Jacob is also certified to operate forklifts…
And that’s his story and he’s sticking to it.
