Michael carries an R.B.A degree with a concentration in Computers from Shepherd University in Shepherdstown, West Virginia. Michael also carries an AA degree in Computer Programming from Potomac State College of WVU in Keyser, West Virginia.
Michael joined Welsh Sound in 2000. Over the years Michael has played an important role for termination and labeling on the Installation team. This is why Michael is known as the “Solder Guy” for Welsh Sound. One of the major projects that was taken on by Welsh Sound was the re-wiring of CAP TV/Virginia Tech TV Studio. On this install about 196 or more audio connections were terminated. Each connection was individually soldered, heat shrunk and labeled. This was quite the experience.
Michael works on most of the custom wiring and snake systems for installs. This includes microphones, video, and speaker cable systems.
Outside of his employment with Welsh Sound, he is a Data Network Specialist for Shepherd University (www.shepherd.edu)
In his spare time, Michael enjoys vacationing. So far Michael has enjoyed his adventures to the Orlando area, Vegas, Grand Canyon, Bahamas Islands.
His dream is to visit Alaska. This will take place in June of 2008.
