Welcome
My name is Julie Alexander. I am a graduate of Shepherd University . I recieved a Bachelor of Science in Communication and New Media with a concentration in Media Studies and a minor in Marketing.
With my degree I am pursing a career in marketing, promotions, and public relations. I am interested in creating events, promoting events and products, as well as creating and maintaining a brand's public image.
I work well alone and in groups. I can communicate ideas and listen to others. I am willing and ready to learn from others. I am also confident in my writing skills.
For my senior capstone I created a blog website for The Dreyfuss Initiative. The blog was proposed as a part of their social media campaign. In today's media I am aware that social media is gaining importance. I have worked on and am interested in social media as well as other forms of traditional media.
