For this website I learned how to use the Content Management System (CMS) Drupal. I learned about themes, modules, how to configure modules to work on a drupal website, and how to edit content. The website I created is about fashion, accessories, and beauty.
Spotlight on Civil Discourse

For my capstone project I created a blog website, Spotlight on Civil Discourse, as part of the social media campaign for The Dreyfuss Initiative and “common senselessness”. The blog will put a spotlight on the lack of civics in this country. The Dreyfuss Initiative believes there is a lack of civics and civility in this country. The phrase “common senselessness” refers to the fact that people today know little of their government, constitution, and rights. The target audience for this project is the K-12 student and their parents. The goal of the campaign is to increase social media presence, followers, views on YouTube and spread the message of TDI. This project will take into account how to spread and market an idea, web skills, and writing for the media. The blog will be composed of short blogs. In writing for the media one has to tell the point but in a condensed and intriguing fashion for people to become interested and remember the story.
