Below Standard

Paper is not well written, not well organized, has multiple errors that detract from the concept, and is not formatted properly It is NOT written at the assigned grade level.

The assignment is something that could be completed by most students during a class period.  The assignment was challenging, but would not require students to research beyond what was available at the time of writing. Information on accommodations were included as was any reading material was also included with the assignment

Meets Standard

The assignment is something that could be completed by most students during a class period.

Below Standard

The assignment is not something that could be completed by most students during a class period.  The assignment involved too much research that would not be available at the time or it was not challenging enough for the students.
