West Virginia Issues by Jennifer Beamer This webpage is being made as a final project for an Appalachian Culture class at Shepherd University taught by Professor Rachael Meads. The goal of the project is to inform people about four issues that, in my opinion, need more attention, mountaintop removal, land rights, and national forest. I am hoping to use Doddridge County Herald Record as a means to reach the community I came from. This website will hold the four articles, links to more information about the topics discussed in the articles, and any comments I get regarding topics.
