In all honesty, the events in the park can sometimes go unnoticed by those who have not heard of them before. One year, my family had decided to camp during July, and as luck had it, we managed to stay in the park on the weekend of one of the festivals. We had never realized that there were festivals before then and felt lucky to have stumbled across it. Many years later, we now attend every festival we are able to make it to.

There are many different types of events and activities in the park for people to participate in. There are festivals, ranger programs, wine tastings, cooking classes, other informational classes/activities, special events, and outdoor activities, such as horseback riding.

You can visit the national park site or the concessioner's site for a list of activities with their descriptions and calendars.
