Trails

Within Shenandoah National Park, there are over 500 miles of trails, and the Applachian Trail accounts for 101.5 miles of these trails. Hiking in the park is one of the most popular activities. There are trails that have just nature, some with waterfalls, some that have amazing views of the valley, and there are others.

Some of the most popular trails include Old Rag, Limberlost, Dark Hallow Falls, and Stony Man. When you're looking into hikes that you'd be interested in doing, then you should pay attention to the average amount of time the hike could take, the difficulty of the hike, and what to be aware of when on the trail.
