    Soft tissue sarcoma is one of the most rare types of cancer that is known today.  Soft tissue sarcoma is a non-communicable disease, meaning that it cannot be passed from one infected person to another person.  Soft tissue sarcoma is an abnormal growth of cells that form into a malignant (cancerous) tumor in the soft tissues of the body.  It can form in muscles, fat, tendons, nerves, blood vessels, or joints.  It is most commonly found in the extremities (especially the legs), but is also know to form in the neck and mid-section.
