Champ Since the 1700's there have been reports of a sea serpent in Lake Champlain in Vermont. In 1977 a photograph of the creature was taken by Sandra Mansi, that showed what appeared to be the back and neck of a large creature in the water. This has since became the most famous photograph of Champ. However the photo is highly contested due the time it took for Mansi to come forward with the photo, nearly 3 years, and the loss of the original negative (www.cryptozoology.com/cryptids/champ.php).
