The Mountain Gorilla

The Mountain Gorilla was discovered in 1902 in the Virunga Mountains by Robert von Beringe. Prior to the discovery the Mountain Gorilla was thought to be a mythical creature created in the minds of the local villagers (http://www.reptoids.com/komodo_gorilla.htm).
