Thunderbird The Thunderbird is a gigantic bird believed to live in North America. "Native Americans believed that these birds brought thunder and rain with them as they flew through the air by flapping their wings, and lightning by closing their eyes". Witnesses claim that the birds have a wingspan of fifteen to twenty feet, and are four to eight feet tall. The bird is said to have the ability to lift large animals such as deer off the ground (http://www.cryptozoology.com/cryptids/thunderbird.php).
