Fire proofing pillows or bricks was installed at the end. There are pillows filled with fire resistant fibers with a layer of sand mix between each layer. The pillows had to be installed in to each conduit. The pillows were too large to fit into most holes so we had to remove some of the fibers and insert the pillows. The fiber that was removed was then installed in other conduits. None of the pillows were wasted. This is done to meet the fire code in the halls.
