Pre-terminated fiber was chosen over terminating the fiber in house or calling in a contractor. If Jason Kerr terminated the fiber, the price would be $14.00 an hour to terminate. This would take time that was not available, and would cost more then buying the pre-terminated fiber. The cost of contracting out the fiber termination was higher then the price of the fiber already terminated, and again the time was not available. The contractors would charge about $100.00 per connector on the fiber.
