Welcome to this study of contemporary literature!
This semester we will study a variety of world authors who explore themes
of geography, dislocation, travel, and homeland in their writing.
The course will include poetry, memoir, fiction, and drama. This
website will compliment the material we're studying in class with biographical
information on the authors, interviews, critical writing on the course
theme or a particular work and links to related topics. Throughout
the course, you will be participating in on-line interaction with me and
your class mates to better understand the material we're studying.
