A Comb is a jellyfish that feeds on zooplankton and is native to New England (it is more common in the northern waters). Transparent, it can easily evade detection by the eyes of their predators, even though it can reach lengths up to fifteen centimeters long. The animal is propelled by eight comb rows. The gelatinous tissue is easily damaged.
