Rachel's love of bowling spawned at a very young age. Her parents and grandparents were all on bowling leagues as she grew up and bowling became one of the family's favorite pastimes. At age 15, Rachel got her first job working at Golden Lanes, a family owned bowling alley in her hometown of Petersburg WV. It was while working at Golden Lanes that Rachel first was introduced to the mechanics of bowling such as how pin setters work and how a ball machine runs.

Also at the age of 15, Rachel joined her high school bowling league and quickly learned about leagues, keeping score, and even a few rules of USBC.

Though bowling can be competitive, Rachel created this website to show people that bowling is for anyone, and that no matter at what age or skill level, bowling is an activity that can enjoyed by all.
