Like many other places, Egypt also has verity of creation of the world tales. Out of all that there is, I have decided to use the Heliopolitan version of the creation of the world. In the Heliopolitan Mythology, in the beginning, there was only Nun, a chaos of churning, bubbling water. From this primal ocean of chaos, there sprouted a giant blue lotus flower, where Ra, the giver of light was created. Ra then, by himself, created two children named Shu and Tefnut. Shu, the god of air, and Tefnut, the goddess of moisture, became the main gods of the atmosphere. They gave birth to the god of earth and goddess of the sky, Geb and Nut finishing the creation of the physical world. In Heliopitan myth, Ra’s tears created men. However, Ra was angered by how corrupted and cruel humans were, thus created Sekhmet to kill them. However, Sekhmet was too efficient and slaughtered almost all men before Ra was able to trick her into stopping. This gave her the title of the goddess of war and destruction.
Somewhere along this time, Geb (earth) and Nut (sky) got married against Ra’s wishes. Ra was infuriated and ordered Shu to separate them, which he did. However Nut was already pregnant. In order to get his way, Ra decreed that Nut could not give birth in any month of any year. Having no way to give birth, Nut carried her children inside her until Thoth took pity and decided to help. Thoth, the god of learning, talked the moon into giving extra light. By having extra light, five more days were created and why now there is 365 days in a year and not 360 days. Nut gave birth to Osiris, Horus, Seth, Isis, and Nephthys in those five extra days that was created. In the future, Osiris succeeds Ra (sun) as king with the help of his sister-wife Isis. However loses that position to Seth and become the king of the underworld. However, because of how Osiris lost his title to Seth, Osiris is viewed as the symbol of good, while Seth became the symbol of evil, thus creating the two sides of morality for all humans.
Before the world came to be, there was only chaos. Then out of the darkness appeared Nyx (goddess of night), a bird with black wings who laid a golden egg. After many centuries, the golden egg hatched and brought about Love, starting the transition to order. Soon after came Gaea, the earth, who is said to be the lower half of the golden egg shell that Love was born from. The upper half of the golden egg shell was said to have risen and created Uranus, heaven. As time pasted, Nyx and Erebus (Nyx’s brother) slept together and created the light for heaven and earth. Then Nyx alone produced Doom, Fate, Death, Dream, Sleep, Nemesis and others that represents darkness. Meanwhile Uranus became Gaea’s mate and soon covering her from all sides. Together they made the three Cyclopes, Hecatoncheires and the twelve Titains. Thus ended total chaos but brought about the War of the gods.
Before there was a world, there was a vast dark ocean that washed upon a shore of nothingness. Then from the dark waters came a gaint cobra. Within this giant cobra, layed a being called Vishnu. In this dark quiet nothingness, Vishnu slept guarded by the mighty serpent. However soon, Vishnu woke when he heared sound, Aum. Aum grew rapidly until he filled the dark, empty obess and successfully ended night. As dawn approached, Vishnu’s navel grew a lotus flower and in the middle of this flower sat Brahama. After creating Brahama, Vishnu and the giant cobra vanished but not before ordering Brahama to ’Create the World’. So as commanded, Brahama began creating the world. First Brahama split the lotus flower that he was born from into three pieces, one to create the heavens, one to create the earth and the last to create the sky to divide the heaven and the earth.
In Hindu tradition, Brahama is seen as the creator of life, Vishnu as the sustainer or preserver, and Shiva is seen as the destroyer or transformer. Although Shiva is a destroyer, he is still worshipped in many places since Hindu tradition belief that death in an important aspect of life that is needed to recreate. Furthermore, not everyone celebrates all three gods or even believe in them. Like for Vishnu worshippers who might say that since the rest are just Vishnu's avatars, there is no need to include them. While a Shiva worshipper might say that worshipping Shiva show repect and hope for the afterlife.
Once upon a time, there only existed the sea. From that sea, a mare was born, white and made of sea-foam. The mare was called Eiocha. On the land, near where the land met the sea, grew an oak tree. On the oak, grew a plant whose seeds were formed of the foam tears of the sea. To sustain the plant seeds, Eiocha ate these white berry seeds. Soon the seeds transformed within her and Eiocha gave birth to a god, Cernunnos. So great was her pain during childbirth that she ripped the bark from the one tree in this plain and hurled it into the sea. As the bark touched the sea, it was transformed and became the giants of the deep. Soon after Cernunnos and Eiocha created more gods like, Maponos, Tauranis, and Teutates, and the goddess, Epona. Eiocha soon tired of the land, being a creature of sea-foam, and she returned the sea, where she was transformed into Tethra, goddess of the deep water, sometimes called Tethys. The gods and goddess were lonely for they had none to command nor none to worship them. The gods and goddess took wood from the one oak tree and fashioned the first man and the first woman.

According to Japanese creation myth, the Heaven and the Earth were not divided. All the elements of the Heaven and the Earth were actually mixed together with one germ of life. This germ of life mixed everything together until the lighter part rose while the heavier part sank. Soon the earth was covered with a muddy ocean and there was chaos in the ocean. Then from that very ocean arose a reed, which grew until it reached the sky. This reed was transformed into a god and the place where the head of the reed touched became the Heaven. Soon the god began creating many gods including the Gods of Creation. Izanagi and Izanami were the last gods to be created and also the most remarkable of all the gods. Izanagi and Izanami soon after the creation of the world, produced a daughter who was said to be so beautiful that they put her up in the sky to shine her beauty from thus creating the sun. Izanagi and Izanami’s second duaghter became the moon while their third child, their son, was sent to the sea.
Before there was an earth or heaven, there was chaos. At this time, there was conflicts between all matters like hot against cold, wet with dry, heavy with light, and hard agianst soft. After many eons, a god appeared. He resolved these conflicts by separating earth from heaven, parting the dry land from the waters, and dividing the clear air from the clouds, thus creating an order, a balanced union. Then this unknown god shaped the earth into a great ball and caused the seas to spread in all directions. This god created five zones in this great ball called earth to represent the zones that existed in heaven. Two of the regions of the earth was on the right, two on the left, and one in the center. Beneath and above the earth hangs the air, where the god formed mist and clouds, placing thunderbolts within the clouds. The winds were assigned limits and purposes while the veil was removed to allow the stars to shine forth across the sky.
