Never be afraid to ask the big and tough questions.	These questions will make a story style out better and give you, as a reporter, more information to write about in the story being worked on.
Develop multiple angles as you go.	As a game wears on, the angle of a game can easily make a change at any given moment in the game, especially if one big play happens towards the end of a game, that is the moment you'll want to hammer.
Be unbiased as you go about the work.	The lack of bias helps create more angles. You'll see things from both sides while in a press box. It also helps prepare for if either side wins, espcially in a game between a pair of teams in the local area.
