Basketball

Basketball is a fast paced game, so being able to keep track of the game as to who shoots the ball is crucial because a running score is needed for after the game.

A play-by-play of how the game flows out as far as shots taken is a good thing to have as well as a running score in front so the game is closely kept track of. Knowledge of basketball is great to have.

Interviews include coaches and players of both teams. Everyone is in close quarters and within reach, so comments will be readily accessible.

Material after the story is written includes how many points a team scores at the end of each quarter and for the entire game. Individually, the points scored, field goals made and attempted, and free throws made and attempted are the most important things needed for most basketball coverage.
