Introduction:

You are medical student just starting out at a University. You would like to explore the human body and its systems to determine what type of doctor you would like to become. You have decided to start your exploring with all the major organs of the cardiovascular, respiratory, nervous and endocrine systems.

Task:

The circulatory, respiratory, nervous and endocrine systems are all parts of the human body. What are the major organs in each system? Print out a blank form for each system then look on the internet to find the names and locations of each organ. Label the blank forms you print out from this website. Once you have labeled all the major organs write a couple of sentences stating what system you would want to work on as a doctor.

This lesson will be done in groups of two students decided by Mrs. Lowe in the computer lab. Each student will fill out their own form and turn it in separately, but can find the answers in their group. This project will take two class periods during cold weather days.
