But the one type of tattoo that always stood out to me, were the ones that had a picture of someone’s face in honor of someone who died. Well, unfortunately, a year ago I learned what it was all about. In October 2011 my friend died in a motorcycle accident. I didn’t really know how to take it, but I always felt like a part of me was missing—I needed to find a way to TRULY honor him! So on what was supposed to be his 24th birthday I got this tattoo in memory of him. This way he will always be with me and a part of me. To be honest, ever since I have gotten this tattoo, I have felt a little less lonely and a little more at peace with it all. R.I.P. Mike Doe."
