Dr. W. Liao
Dr. W. Liao received a Bachelor and Master of Engineering Science
in Computer Science and Engineering from Northeastern
University, China in
1991 and 1994, and M. A. and Ph.D.
degrees
in Computer Science from
the Kent State University in 1999
and
2003,
respectively. He had also worked
in Microsoft Corporation, Kimberly Clark, Timeware Inc. and other companies
before he joined Shepherd University. Dr. Liao made his major research contributions
in IAMC( Internet Accessible
Mathematical Computation) Framework, Internet and Distributed Computing,
and Distributed Database System. He has participated in the review process
of several
conference
papers
and
journal
articles for
the
major
computer
societies such as ACM.
