Some Superstitions:
Stairs
If two people cross on the stairs, it is considered bad
luck. A person needs to wait at the top or bottom of the
stairs until the person they would potentially cross with is
finished their trip. If the two people can not avoid meeting
on the stairs, they should cross their fingers to avoid bad
luck. If a person stumbles down the stairs, it is considered
very unlucky. However, if a person stumbles up the stairs,
it is a sign of good fortune or a wedding.
Twins
Twins are considered to be bonded so well, that one twin can
sense when the other twin is in danger. If one twin is
experiencing a state of happiness or well-being, then it
will carry over to the other twin’s feelings. Often, if one
twin dies, the other will soon follow.
Halloween
It is believed that this is night that the barrier between
the worlds of the living and dead are the thinnest.
Originally, Halloween was a pagan ritual in Celtic lands to
mark the end of autumn and onset of winter. Others legends
say that on this night, Satan, witches, and all the demons
were free to walk the earth.
