DescriptionSPAN 410 Practicum in Spanish  (3)

A course designed in alliance with the Washington Semester Program or Co-op Program to allow college credit for practical work experience in the Washington/Baltimore areas. They will have to produce a paper upon completion of their program to get credit for this course and present a diary of activities.  Permission of the instructor.

Standard 3.2: Students acquire information and recognized the distinctive viewpoints that are only available through the Spanish language and its cultures.
Standard 4.1    Students demonstrate understanding of the nature of language through comparisons between Spanish and English.
Standard 4.2    Students demonstrate understanding of the concept of culture through comparisons between Hispanic cultures and their own.
Standard 5.1    Students use Spanish both within and beyond the school setting
