Dr. Best

I am a Professor in the Institute of Environmental and Physical Sciences at Shepherd University, and the university's astrophysicist overseeing the Shepherd University Observatory. I teach numerous courses in astronomy, physics, and physical science. My primary research areas are the large-scale structure of the Universe, galaxy evolution, and the history of astronomy/astronomy education.

I currently serve in a number of additional capacities, including:
