| Points | Assignment |
| 10% | Daily/Weekly Bulletin Board Posts. These will be graded holistically by both quantity and quality. You should post at least two message per lecture module: one on the readings directly and one as a specific response to a classmate's post. You have to post these BEFORE taking the unit quizzes or they will not count. Earn points by not only summarizing the readings, but by analyzing through use of details as well as fleshing out concepts. Every once and a while, the teacher will reply to a post with a comment such as "exemplary post" or "good job," so you can see which posts are earning points for quality. |
| 90% | Highest 15 Unit Quizzes out of 18 Unit
Quizzes Each Quiz will have a series of objective questions (half of the points) and one essay question (half of the points). The three lowest quizzes will be dropped. See the Lecture Module on Policies for more information on the quizzes. |
