Assignments:

Follow the instructions on the assignment sheets (hyperlinked), but also consult the Grading Criteria.

• 100 points -- a 500 word Analysis Paper, choose from the 15 lecture topics / assigned readings.
• 100 points -- a 500 word Praxis Paper, analyzing a tutoring session based on your logs and on readings.
• 100 points -- Midterm: Part I. Short Essay on Leading Theorists in Composition and Part II. Online Tutoring
• 300 points -- Observation Logs and Tutoring Logs (6 sessions minimum). Due with Cover Letter on 12/13/99

Observe 2 tutorials in the Writing Center by the end of Week 4
Observe 1 tutorial and perform 1 tutorial by the end of Week 8
Perform 2 tutorials by the end of Week 15

• 300 points -- Semester Project: Due in stages: Nov 1, Dec 1, & Dec 13.
• 100 points-- Final Exam: Editing and Proofreading. Take home exam, due on Monday, Dec 13th.
