Monica Larson has over 20 years experience
in marketing, encompassing print communications, new media design, public
relations, and product management. She currently is a Visiting Professor
of New Media at Shepherd University and consults with a diverse group of
clients. In the past ten years she has founded and served as the creative
force behind three high-tech companies, including one of the earliest web
development firms in the country, a video game software company, and an
online exchange for the financial services industry. She has directed development
and online branding efforts for over 100 high-profile Internet initiatives,
grown start-up companies from 13 to 130 individuals, and helped raise over
$30 million in venture capital. Prior to her entrepreneurial efforts Monica
worked for a nationally-awarded design and advertising agency. Monica's
skills range from the creative to the pragmatic, with an ever-present focus
on clarity of purpose and communication. |
