I am a protein biochemist with a special interest in structure-function relationships. I have carried out research to investigate the effect of amino acid mutations on the structure of the molecule shown above, the MHC molecule HLA-A*0201. I most recently collaborated with Dr. James Sheil at West Virginia University on a project studying murine transplantation antigens
