English 104 With Dr. Alan Tinkler
This is definitely one of the most fun and interesting classes I have ever taken. We did a lot of work for the class and the community with service learning. I really enjoyed time spent in the class as well as outside of it.
Assignments:
Argument Essay- I argued for child sexual abuse detection and prevention as a serious problem and what we can do to make the process easier.
Brochure front/back- This brochure was created to help families of the child advocacy center Safe Haven in Martinsburg, Wv better understand the center and the process of advocacy.
Our group PowerPoint was created to to demonstrate to the class the work we did for safe Haven including our volunteer work.
Resume- Created to better help with the search for a job after college.
Class Reflection Essay- A reflection on my experiences in the class and how it will affect my view of the world and my future.
Volunteer Reflection Essay- A reflection on my volunteer experience and how i think it will help me be successful later in life
